Ellis - Rat Terrier and Jack Russell Terrier Dog for Adoption in Beavercreek, Oregon

Ellis is a rescue from Oklahoma who showed up as a stray to some elderly people's home. He was taken in my an Oklahoma rescue and waited two months in their care for an adopter but unfortunately adoption rates are low in Oklahoma. We brought Ellis out to Oregon for a better chance at finding a loving home.

- Approximately 2-3 years old and 25 pounds. Docked tail.

- Our best guess on breed is a Rat Terrier mix. It would be so fun if his future adopter did a DNA test so we could see what his breed mix is.

- Good with other dogs and has been fostered with many dogs large and small.

- Met a cat and ignored the cat. We do believe Ellis can live peacefully in a home with a cat.

- Friendly with all people and loves attention.

- Nice medium energy. His foster family says he is mostly chill but does get the zoomies sometimes!

- Loads up in the car and enjoys rides

- Walks nice on leash

- Potty habits have been good and no potty accidents reported by his foster families in Oklahoma or Oregon.

- Crates well

Ellis is neutered, vaccinated, heartworm tested negative, dewormed and current on flea/tick/heart worm prevention. His adoption fee includes a free wellness exam at one of our partner veterinary clinics in Oregon City, Milwaukie, Portland or Tualatin.
