Rat Terrier and Jack Russell Terrier Dogs Available for Adoption in Mishawaka, Indiana

Zero is a terrier mix. He is small and very loving. He likes to jump up on your lap and get scratches. He also LOVES squeaker toys. He will run to chase them and bring them back, so he can do it again. He does have energy and would do well with a fenced in yard to play in and an active family. He loves to roam free and is not a fan of a kennel. He can be kenneled, but is a little grumpy at frist. If kenneling is a must, we recommend a heavy duty kennel for this little guy. But, if he has a home where he can roam, he would much prefer that. He was surrendered by his owner due to not being able to care for him anymore. He is up to date on vaccines, neutered and microchipped, but does take medication for seizures. His seizure medication is very effective. He does need check ups to make sure the medication is at the right dosage and we have been keeping an eye on that and Zero has been doing very well. He can be dog selective. Overall he does very well with other dogs, but he can get a little territorial over bones and toys (things that he thinks should be his alone - not uncommon for a dog to have this opinion). He just attended a shelter event with lots of people and other dogs and did great. If you are looking for a little love bug to join your pack, come and meet Zero!
