Remi was found wandering as a stray in a neighborhood where she was being bullied by larger dogs, until a rescuer safely pulled her from the streets. Since then, she has been given the chance to decompress and learn what safety feels like. She is a gentle, sensitive dog who is still building confidence in the world around her.

Temperament:
Remi is shy and skittish at first and may shake in new environments or around unfamiliar people. She needs slow, patient introductions and time to feel secure. Once she trusts you, her personality blossoms—she becomes loving, friendly, and very affectionate with her people.

Energy Level:
Calm. Remi is not high-energy, but she does require secure handling at all times, as she may try to run if she feels unsafe or overwhelmed. A secure harness and leash management are essential for her safety.
