Mugsy came to us from a local shelter and is hoping for a chance at a brighter future. Unfortunately, he has tested positive for heartworms, and we will be beginning a slow-kill treatment plan to help him along the road to recovery. A heartworm diagnosis doesn’t define Mugsy, and it certainly doesn’t make him any less deserving of love. Every dog deserves the chance to live a happy, comfortable life, and Mugsy is no exception. Please don’t overlook this sweet boy because of a medical challenge. He deserves someone willing to see the wonderful dog he is and give him the chance he’s been waiting for
