Earl - Miniature Dachshund Dog for Adoption in Marshall, Texas

Earl is an 8-year-old Dachshund who was dumped and left to fend for himself on the streets. Sadly, we believe he was attacked during his time alone, and he recently underwent surgery to remove one of his eyes.

Through it all, Earl has remained a sweet old soul who deserves nothing but love, comfort, and kindness. He’s ready for his soft landing—a cozy home, a warm heart, and a good blanket to burrow under.

The miniature dachshund is a small breed known for its elongated body and short legs, originating from Germany. These dogs are playful, affectionate, and courageous, with a strong hunting instinct. They are loyal companions and can adapt well to various living situations, making them popular family pets. Despite their size, miniature dachshunds are outgoing and curious, always eager to explore their surroundings. Regular exercise and proper weight management are essential for maintaining their overall health and well being.
