Meet Odie — a perfectly adorable purebred Pug with the most irresistible wrinkly face and a smile that will make your heart absolutely melt on the spot. This handsome little guy arrived at the shelter on April 17th after not getting along with the other dogs in his previous home, and while he may do best as the only pet in the household, the family lucky enough to make him their one and only is going to feel like the luckiest people on earth every single day.
 
At just a year and a half old and 23 pounds Odie is still very much a young dog with his whole life ahead of him, and he is still working on perfecting his house training skills — which means whoever adopts him gets to be part of that journey and watch him grow and learn and become the best version of himself. A little patience now will be rewarded with a lifetime of love and devotion from this absolutely precious boy.
 
Odie is heartworm negative and up to date on all of his vaccines, and he will be neutered prior to adoption — healthy and ready for the fresh start he deserves. Purebred Pugs are rare finds in shelters, and a young, healthy one like Odie is even rarer. He is an extraordinary little find and whoever welcomes him home is getting something truly special.

This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.
