Aurora is a ten-week-old tortoiseshell Domestic Shorthair mix with a rich tapestry of brown, black, and amber patching that makes her coat look like something painted rather than born. She arrived at Cobb Animal Services on June 3rd alongside her companion Eclipse, and this warm, earthy little girl has been tucked close to her sleek black friend ever since. At just over 2 lbs she is tiny and precious - a little tortoiseshell treasure waiting for the right person to find her.
Aurora is FIV/FeLV negative and will be spayed prior to adoption. Tortoiseshell cats are known for their one-of-a-kind coloring - no two torties are ever marked the same way, which makes Aurora genuinely unique in all the world. At ten weeks old she is right at the beginning of everything, full of the wonder and curiosity that makes kittens so completely irresistible.
What makes Aurora even more special is who she comes with. Her companion Eclipse is right there beside her in Kennel #626 - a striking black kitten who has been her constant from the very start. Together they are as beautiful a pair as you will ever see - one as dark as a midnight sky, one as warm and colorful as the light that follows. A home with room for both would be something truly wonderful.
Aurora is a gorgeous, one-of-a-kind little girl with her whole life ahead of her and a friend already by her side. She is waiting in Kennel #626 for someone who will fall in love with her extraordinary coloring, her tiny tortoiseshell face, and everything she is going to become. Come meet her and Eclipse - and let these two beautiful girls find their way into your heart and your home.
