Say hello to Bella...

Bella is twelve weeks old, small, fluffy, and somehow already carrying enough personality to fill a room.

She is a poodle-and-something mix, and the "something" appears to have contributed a generous helping of sparkle.

Bella is a joy girl.

She loves people with her entire tiny self. She wants to be where the people are, to know what they're doing, to be included in the proceedings.

There is a particular brightness to her -- an illuminating buzz of affection and curiosity.

And then she settles in beside you and becomes the sweetest little snuggle bug imaginable.

This is the part where we remind everyone that Bella is twelve weeks old.

The same puppy who melts into your lap will also need to master house training. She will need someone willing to patiently teach her what doesn't belong in her mouth, how to navigate a world that is still brand new, and how to get through those inevitable puppy days when progress comes in tiny increments.

For that reason, we're looking for a home without small children and with the time, patience and good humor to give this little girl the thoughtful start she deserves.

Because underneath all that fluff and fizz is a very special little soul.
