Say Hello Butternut,

This island-born baby came to us as a just-shy-of-a-week-old kit in June.

Back then, she and her siblings, Tater and Rhubarb, were tiny little beans who stole our hearts from the moment we met them and took them into our care at Haven.

Now, just about to hit the 10-week-old mark, they have blossomed into three exquisite little whirlygigs.

Butternut is curious about everything.
Enthusiastic about everyone.

She tumbles, chases, pounces, climbs, investigates and generally ricochets through the day with the determination of a creature who has places to go and things to discover.

And oh my holy... tshe and her littermates have the most stunning and unusual mackerel tabby markings that are just flat-out stunning.

As much as we would love to have her sweetness with us always, she is just about ready to head out into the world and is now officially available for adoption.

From tiny week-old babies to magnificent little mischief-makers...
It has been a joy to watch them grow, and wherever they land, our hearts will always hold them close.

NOTE:

To avoid single-kitten syndrome, we require kittens to be adopted in pairs and will consider a solo adoption only if there is another young, gregarious cat in the home.

We also require strict indoor-only care and do not adopt out young kittens to homes with children under 5 years old.
