Meet Leelo! Leelo is a small spayed female poodle/cocker spaniel mix (~14 yrs old and 23 lbs). Leelo is very sweet!

Their foster said, "Leelo is loving and sweet! She love car rides and walks, is fully up-to-date on vaccines and spayed. She had dentals every year before being surrendered to us. Leelo is housebroken and crate trained however she does cry at first when they go in the crate. She does well with cats, kids and other dogs but she prefers dogs her size.

Adoption fees vary based on the dog and are not negotiable. As a small rescue that does not receive government funding or grants, we rely on adoption fees to stay afloat. Adoption fees help cover the following: vaccinations, wellness exams, heartworm/4DX testing, parasite prevention, spay/neuter (age-appropriate), microchipping, transport expenses, and other rescue-related overhead/administrative costs. Paws Rescue League, Inc is an all-inclusive rescue that does NOT only rescue puppies and young, healthy dogs. We make a point to also rescue seniors, dogs with special needs, moms, and other “less desirable” dogs, knowing that we will likely incur higher veterinary expenses and that these dogs may take longer to get adopted. As such, an individual adoption fee is not only reimbursing PRL for expenses directly related to that dog, but it is also helping us to continue our mission of taking in dogs that would otherwise be too much of a financial burden to save.
