Petal - Poodle and Shih Tzu Dog for Adoption in Chicago, Illinois

This petite gal is spayed and fully healthy! She is up to date on vaccines. She is also microchipped!

: Housebreaking - She has good house manners when on a consistent routine, but may have an occasional accident while adjusting to a new home.

: Crate Training - Familiar with a crate and does well for short periods, but she can take some time to settle. She has not been left at home for longer stretches of time yet, and may need time to adjust in a new home.

: Leash walking - She is learning how to walk politely on a leash with guidance and practice.

: Dog-friendly - She has not had a chance to meet other dogs while with us

: Cat-friendly - Not sure, he hasn't met cats with us yet! Slow intro required if adopted into a home with a cat.

Kid-friendly - She has shown positive signs around children, and was very sweet and gentle when spending time with an 8-year-old

Petal is very sweet and kind, and loves to be wherever you are. She does great with kids and is open to learning. She is pretty quiet at home and would likely do well in many different types of homes, but would likely love a household where folks are around most of the day or where she can join her people on their outings.

Petal's adoption fee is $300, and she will make a great addition to her future home!

This pet has not been DNA tested, we are unsure of their actual breed makeup, but these are the breeds we think they look like!
