My name is Dorothy and I am a 2-year-old Poodle/Terrier mix who weighs about 14 lbs.
I came up from Southern California with a little surprise - I was pregnant! Now that my puppies are weaned and off to start their own adventures, it's finally my turn to find a forever home.

I am a SUPER happy, people-loving girl who hasn't met a human I don't like. I bring a lot of joy, energy, and personality wherever I go, and I'm always ready to make new friends.

Being part terrier, I do have that fun, curious instinct to chase small critters. In my foster home I've been able to coexist with confident, dog-savvy cats who don't run from me, but if there is a cat in the home that wound run, I would chase.

With other dogs, I can be a little bossy at times, but I do well with calm, easygoing pups who don't mind my personality and set their own boundaries.

I enjoy playing with toys, though I haven't quite figured out the whole "fetch" thing yet - maybe you can teach me!
