Meet Foxy
Some dogs spend their lives wondering if they'll ever be someone's priority. Foxy is finally getting that chance.
Foxy is a 7-year-old Pomeranian weighing just 9 pounds. This tiny sweetheart came to rescue after being left outside while her owners went on vacation. She had food and water, but no shelter from the elements. Thankfully, the family's pool maintenance technician noticed her and reached out to the owners, only to be told they no longer wanted her. That heartbreaking conversation became the beginning of Foxy's new life.
When Foxy arrived, she was incredibly matted and in desperate need of some TLC. Since then, she's had a fresh haircut, been nursed back to health, received a dental cleaning with a few teeth removed, and is now healthy, happy, and officially ready to find the loving forever home she has always deserved.
Foxy is wonderful with both dogs and cats. Because of her tiny size, we'd recommend a home with older, respectful children (around 10 years and older) who understand how gentle they need to be with a petite pup.
She is doing great with kennel training, walks nicely on a leash, and absolutely loves being held. At just 9 pounds, she's the perfect little lap dog who is happiest curled up beside the people she loves.
Foxy has endured more than any dog should, but her gentle spirit has never faded. She's simply looking for a soft bed, a warm lap, and a family that will never leave her behind again.
Our adoption fee of $400 includes her spay, age-appropriate vaccines, microchip, current heartworm prevention, current flea and tick prevention, collar, leash, food, and a favorite toy to help make the transition into her new home a little easier.
