Meet Vinny – Quite Possibly the Most Unique Dog We’ve Ever Seen!

Pekingese? Pomeranian? Tiny polar bear? Honestly, your guess is as good as ours! One thing we do know for sure is that Vinny’s fluffy white coat, adorable little legs, and sweet personality make him absolutely impossible not to love.

Vinny is the perfect companion for someone who enjoys a low-key lifestyle but still likes to get out and about. His short little legs are always ready for an adventure—especially if that adventure includes several leisurely walks throughout the day. While he isn’t built for long-distance hiking, he is built for making friends. Vinny loves being out in public where he can soak up attention from adults and kids alike. If there are pets to be given, Vinny is happy to collect them!

This easygoing guy is potty trained, walks beautifully on a leash, and has excellent house manners. He’s not a fan of crates and would much rather spend his time lounging on the couch or snoozing beside his people. Fortunately, Vinny has earned the trust of his foster family and does just fine loose in the house.

Vinny can be a little reserved when it comes to snuggles at first, but he’s gaining confidence every day and slowly learning that cuddling with his people is pretty wonderful. He would likely thrive in a home with another small, friendly dog to help show him the ropes and boost his confidence. He’d also do well with respectful children ages 5 and up.

While not officially diagnosed, we do suspect Vinny may have some hearing loss. The good news? It doesn’t slow him down one bit. He’s very alert and responds quickly to hand signals and visual cues, proving that he’s a smart little guy who’s eager to connect with his people.
