**Meet Suki!**
At just 5 months old and a tiny 5 pounds, Suki proves that the best things really do come in small packages.
This adorable Jack Russell Terrier mix and her littermates were rescued from a neglect situation, but those difficult days are behind her. Now safe in foster care, Suki is thriving and showing everyone what a sweet, funny, and loving little girl she truly is.
Suki can be a bit shy when meeting new people, but she warms up quickly. Once you've earned her trust, she'll happily become your loyal little shadow, following you from room to room and keeping you company wherever you go. While she's full of classic JRT puppy energy and loves to play, she's also a champion cuddler. In fact, if Foster Mom sits down, Suki will often abandon whatever game she's playing and race over for a snuggle session!
This smart girl is making great progress with her potty training. She eagerly does her business outside whenever given the opportunity and is also learning to use potty pads indoors. Suki absolutely loves food and is highly treat-motivated, making her a wonderful candidate for continued training.
Because of her small size and active personality, Suki is looking for a home with a securely fenced yard where she can safely run, explore, and burn off some of that puppy energy. She would also love to have another playful, social dog (or two!) to help show her the ropes and keep her company.
One of Suki's most charming quirks is her ongoing battle with stairs. Going up? No problem! Going down? Well... those tiny little legs aren't quite convinced yet, so she's more than happy to be carried.
Sweet, affectionate, playful, and endlessly entertaining, Suki is ready to leave her difficult past behind and start the next chapter of her life with a family who will cherish her forever. If you're looking for a pint-sized best friend with a huge personality and an even bigger heart, Suki may be your perfect match.
