Babalú! Meet Ricky Ricardo!

Ricky Ricardo is a 2-year-old, 14-pound Pomeranian/Chihuahua mix with the looks of a leading man and a sweet personality that’s starting to shine.

Ricky can be a little unsure at first, but he’s getting closer and more comfortable with his people every day. Give him a little time to warm up, and you’ll get to watch this handsome guy come out of his shell. He’s also dog friendly and happy to have some four-legged costars around.

Ricky may not be ready to belt out “Babalú” on cue, but he is ready for his next big role — beloved family member. Ricky is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and on heart worm prevention. His adoption fee is $300.

All this Ricky needs is a little patience, plenty of love, and someone ready to say, “Ricky, I’m home!

Our hospital is open for adoption visitation Monday through Friday from 7:30 to 5:00pm and Saturday's from 8:00am to 11:00am. To speed up the adoption process please visit our webiste, www.mmahrescue.org, to fill out an application and get pre-approved when you arrive to meet your new best friend! Prior to meeting an adoptable animal we do require an approved application to be on file, sorry for this inconvenience.

Cat adoption fees are $50 for kittens under 16 weeks of age and $75 for kittens/cats over 16 weeks of age. Dog adoption fees are $150 for puppies under 16 weeks of age and $175 for dogs over 16 weeks of age.

The Chihuahua is a small breed famous for its confidence, loyalty, and big personality, despite its tiny size. Originating from Mexico, these dogs are known for their large, expressive eyes and alert, curious nature. Chihuahuas make excellent companions, forming strong bonds with their owners and displaying a protective nature. They come in a variety of coat colors and patterns, with both long and short coats, making them a diverse and adorable addition to any family.

The Pomeranian is a small dog breed known for its vibrant personality and fluffy coat. Originating from Pomerania in Central Europe, these dogs are intelligent, alert, and exceptionally friendly, making them excellent companions for both individuals and families. Pomeranians require regular grooming to maintain their luxurious double coat, which can come in various colors. Despite their small size, they are lively and confident, often displaying a curious nature and playful demeanor that endears them to their owners.
