KALA was brought to the shelter as a stray, so nothing is known about her background.
KALA is a young adult, estimated to be 3 years old, she weighs 8.6 lbs, she has had her DA2PP and bordetella vaccines and she is listed as a Pomeranian/mix. KALA is not yet spayed, but she is on the waiting list at the vet. If KALA is not spayed prior to adoption, her adoption fee includes a $75 voucher to be used toward her spay surgery at the vet of your choice.
KALA is a very nice, sweet, friendly girl who loves people and loves to climb into your lap for a little attention! KALA enjoys spending time with the volunteers, enjoys a nice walk and walks well on a leash. KALA was adopted briefly, but was returned because the other dogs in the house were not getting along with her.
It is difficult to tell for sure in the shelter setting whether or not a dog is housebroken, so it is best to assume they are not and be pleasantly surprised if they are!
KALA has been fine around the other shelter dogs, but nothing is known about how she is with kids or cats since there are neither at the shelter. Please bring your kids, dog(s), and even your cat(s), if possible, to the shelter for a meet and greet with the help of the warden or deputies just to be sure everyone gets along before taking KALA home!
