Yoshi's story almost ended before it truly began.

This handsome boy was saved at the very last moment from a euthanasia list in Texas and made the long journey to the East Coast in search of something he's likely never had beforea family of his own.

Yoshi is an approximately 2-year-old neutered male who is as sweet and gentle as they come. Beneath his cautious exterior is a loving soul who desperately wants to trust and connect with people. Life hasn't always been kind to Yoshi, and because of his past, he can be anxious in new situations and easily startled by things like bicycles or people passing by quickly on walks.

But here's the beautiful part: every day, Yoshi shows us that he wants to try.

He walks nicely on leash, is dog and cat friendly, and has all the makings of an incredible companion. What Yoshi needs now is someone willing to believe in himsomeone patient, kind, and understanding who can help him continue building confidence and show him that the world isn't such a scary place.

The person who opens their heart to Yoshi won't just be adopting a dog. They'll be changing the course of his life forever. They will get to witness the incredible transformation that happens when a frightened dog finally learns what it means to feel safe, loved, and home.
