Meet Monet!
Monet was rescued from Devore alongside her sister, Matisse, after both girls landed on the euthanasia list. Now safe in foster care, Monet has settled right in and shown everyone what an absolute gem she is.
Monet is:
3-year-old Plott Hound mix
50 lbs
Potty trained
Great with other dogs
Gentle on leash
Gentle taking treats
Sweet, calm & affectionate
Playful without being over-the-top
Sleeps through the night
Her foster describes Monet as a “gentle soul,” and that really sums her up. She enjoys being around her people and her foster dog sister, happily shares toys, and is just as content snoozing at your feet as she is snuggling when invited.
She also has a few very important hobbies: occasionally stealing socks and shoes (but not destroying them!), checking the edge of the counter for anything interesting, and becoming mysteriously VERY heavy when you ask her to get off the couch, bed, or out of the car.
Monet is affectionate without being needy, easy to have around, and ready to make someone very, very happy.
