Meet Marvin!
Marvin spent 99 days at the Moreno Valley Shelter after coming in as a stray before finally getting his freedom on September 24th. After nearly 100 days waiting, this big guy somehow came out of the shelter still ridiculously happy, affectionate, and ready to love everyone he meets.
Marvin is:
- 3-year-old Shepherd mix
- 82 lbs
- Incredibly affectionate & cuddly
- Ball and toy OBSESSED
- Crate trained
- Smart & eager to learn
- Happy, friendly & full of life
- Currently working with a professional trainer
Marvin is a total velcro dog. At home, he wants to be wherever his person is cuddled against you on the couch, hanging out while you work, or apparently even following you into the shower. His other great loves are tennis balls, toys, and especially his stuffed whale.
He’s currently in a board & train working on leash manners, polite greetings, and managing his excitement around other dogs. Marvin is still decompressing from his long shelter stay, so we’re continuing to learn what his ideal activity level and dog relationships look like.
His dream day? A long walk, a pile of tennis balls, his favorite plushie, and ending the night glued to his person on the couch.
Marvin has waited long enough. Now he’s looking for an active home that will continue his training and wants a big, goofy, affectionate shadow to love.
