Sassy - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in York, Pennsylvania

Please don't mind the resting stink face-Sassy simply has intense eyebrows! That, and she's feeling a bit overwhelmed with the move to the busy shelter. This young senior pair came in when their family moved and they weren't able to go along. Described as timid with strangers but happy to be pet (and sleep under the covers!) by their previous family, Sassy and Esther are a bonded pair looking for their forever home together. Though they're still warming up to us here, their family said they can be quite curious and even talkative when being held, which they don't mind doing on their own terms. And yes, they supposedly like to sleep under the covers!

Sassy and Esther lived with both young children and older children and dogs and found them both tolerable, but they really enjoyed feline company and were said to be playful and affectionate when it came to one another. They do reportedly play with toys, especially balls and feather wands. This pair might not show much of themselves to strangers, but we think they'll truly delight the family willing to take a chance on them.
