Kona is a high-energy, affectionate girl who absolutely loves her people. She craves attention, connection, and being part of the family, and she has so much love to give.

Kona's ideal home is one where she can soak up all the attention as the only pet. She is not good with small dogs or other small animals and can also be standoffish and reactive around larger dogs. While she may potentially do well with a very passive dog after careful introductions, a home without other animals is strongly preferred and would give Kona the best opportunity to relax and thrive.

Kona is good with children over age 4 and would love an active family who can give her plenty of exercise, affection, structure, and quality time.

In her foster home, Kona is safely kept separate from the other dogs, but what continues to shine through is just how much this sweet girl wants to love and be loved. She deserves a home where she can be comfortable, confident, and someone's cherished companion.
