Meet Nikko - Loving Heart & Gentle Soul

Nikko is a wonderful 3-year-old mixed breed pup with a loving heart and a gentle soul, looking for his forever loving family. He is past the puppy stage and has already learned how to relax, enjoy routines, and settle into the home life.

Nikko enjoys going for walks, is great on the leash and doesn't pull you. He is a great car rider, and enjoys going on adventures with his Foster. He absolutely loves being near his people whether that's you or anyone he meets. He's never met a stranger, and his favorite job is Greeter at the Vet Clinic.

When it's time to wind down Nikko loves to cuddle with you and his favorite toys. He especially loves to roll over and have you rub his belly!

Nikko's Personality Highlights:
- Calm and very well-mannered
- Potty trained and crate trained
- Walks well on leash, doesn't pull you
- Gets along with other dogs
- Has done well with cats when visiting the vet, but unsure about at home
- Sweet, affectionate, and loyal boy; loves everyone he meets.
- He is a generally calm boy that would make a great family dog
- Notorious for the occasional "zoomies" so will probably do better with kids 10+

You will get to meet Nikko over a video call before signing paperwork, creating a fun and personalized adoption experience! We facilitate adoptions across the U.S. with USDA-certified transport teams to safely bring our animals to their new homes, with drop-off locations in CO, VA, NY, MA, WA, IL, AZ, OR, and MI.

Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet.
