Boxer Dogs Available for Adoption in Stratham, New Hampshire

JOHNNY

Boxer
🇺🇸
Stratham, New Hampshire
April 28th
male, large, young

DESCRIPTION

Johnny (approximately 59 pounds) was transferred to the NHSPCA from an overcrowded shelter in Texas. His foster mama describes him as a fun-loving, playful young fellow who adores toys, especially chew toys. His favorite toy is pretty much anything he can carry around in his mouth or appropriately chew on. He is completely unaware that he is now a full grown large dog and not a little puppy, so he will try to sit on your lap for a cuddle and may crash into you when playing around outside. He is also working on his residual puppy mouthiness and will sometimes mouth peoples' hands in a friendly way. Due to this, he's probably not a great match for an elderly person or someone with small children. But he IS a good match for anyone looking for an enthusiastic, dog-friendly doggo who responds well to training & loves to play with toys. Johnny also loves to play with other dogs and has a bouncy, goofy play style. He was fostered with a senior dog and would bop her with a paw when trying to get her to play, but he was also respectful when she refused his advances. He is fully house trained and knows to go potty outside, and he is crate trained and comfortable in his crate for reasonable periods of time. Johnny also features magnificent forehead wrinkles which are not to be missed, so come check him out today!
