She prefers the calm of a cozy walk around the perimeter, where she can soak up some socialization without too much pressure. At home, though, she thrives alongside her foster sister, Darla. These two are practically partners in crime, playing and running together. 🐶✨She does best with playmates around the same size as her and we do not recommend small dogs. But guess what? She’s got a special bond with her feline friend! Yes, you heard that right—they even enjoy snoozing together. How cute is that? Because she's a bundle of energy, older children are recommended; let’s just say she might accidentally tip over a little one with all her enthusiastic greetings! But with a touch of dedication, she can definitely be trained to be gentle. When it comes to her human pack, she’s all about the love! Expect loving tail wags, belly rubs, and plenty of joy when you walk through the door. She’s also a budding guard dog—alerting you to any strangers while you work on her “no bark” command, which she’s picking up like a pro! Just give her some space to warm up to new faces, and she’ll win them over in no time. ❤️ This sweet girl is housebroken and crate trained, plus she adores car rides! 🚗 She’s great with dogs her own size for one-on-one playdates but prefers to steer clear of crowded dog parks. And did we mention her lovely relationship with cats? She can be shy initially, but she just needs a little time to blossom into her beautiful self!
Medical update: Yazzy has "bad knees". Doesn't look like anything is torn, but the vet has her on daily carprofen and you'll notice a little limp when she's walking. Due to this, she goes on short walks and simple outside time in the backyard.
