Chow Chow

Shiloh, Illinois
September 2nd
female, large, adult
DESCRIPTION
Dumpling is a sweet, easygoing girl who’s totally fine hanging out with other dogs but isn’t really interested in rough-housing or wrestling with them. Her real goofball side comes out with her people – she gets bouncy zoomies and loves to hop around with her humans, but she’s more of a chill companion than a dog-park party girl. From what we know she was raised around older kids, and with proper introductions could be a great match for a calm family home. Dumpling would actually make a fantastic apartment dog: she settles well, and even her bark is quiet and a little comical. If you’re looking for a lower-key buddy who will hang out on the couch, trot along for walks, and make you laugh with her silly little hops, Dumpling might be your girl.
FREE TRAINING IS INCLUDED FOR HER LIFETIME!
Adoption Fee is $150
ABOUT: CHOW CHOW DOG BREED
The Chow Chow, a distinctive breed known for its lion like mane and unique blue black tongue, originated in China over 2,000 years ago. These aloof yet loyal dogs are known for their independent nature, dignified demeanor, and protective instincts. Chow Chows require early socialization and training to thrive in a family setting, as they can be stubborn and territorial. With a dense double coat that requires regular grooming and a history as ancient guardians and hunting companions, the Chow Chow remains a fascinating and enigmatic breed in the canine world.
