Meet Zelda, a wild-hearted little adventurer who is ready to make your home her new Hyrule!

Spunky, affectionate, clever, and hilariously fearless, Zelda approaches life like every day is a brand-new quest. Walk to explore the neighborhood? She's in. Car ride with the window cracked for premium sniffing? Absolutely. Fetch, tug, puzzle toys, couch parkour? Say less. This girl has places to go, people to see, and fun to be had.

For all her adventurous spirit, Zelda's greatest treasure might actually be cuddling. She is extraordinarily affectionate and will adapt to virtually any cuddle configuration available, whether that means curling up with you or snuggling another dog. Personal space is more of a suggestion. She'll even accompany you to the bathroom and supervise your shower, because every hero deserves a highly qualified lifeguard.

Zelda is also wicked smart! She taught herself to bring the ball back during fetch and loves enrichment that puts her busy brain to work. She's wonderfully expressive too, communicating through an impressive assortment of talking, howling, yapping, and bizarre play noises. Add to the mix her individually swiveling ears, some enthusiastic kisses (that are occasionally delivered directly into a nostril!), and wiggly upside-down worm impressions, and there is never a dull moment with this loveable little lady!

She enjoys other dogs with introductions and would love a playful canine companion who appreciates her particular brand of adorable, whimsical chaos, and size doesn't intimidate her! Zelda has happily mixed it up with much bigger dogs and has some truly creative wrestling techniques.

Zelda is looking for an active, patient family who will keep her body moving, her clever brain busy, and continue helping her practice settling between adventures. In return, you'll get one incredibly loving, goofy, loyal sidekick.

Zelda is estimated to have been born in November 2024 and weighs 42 lbs. She is a pit bull/cattle dog mix who may not possess the Triforce, but she certainly has Courage covered! Now she just needs a kingdom to call her own.

Zelda's adoption fee is $450. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped. Per our rescue policy, unless specifically noted in a dog's bio, we will not consider adoption applications from families with children under 5 years old.
