Foster Needed: Meet Mae, Professional Blueberry Tosser

Mae is a sweet, goofy girl looking for a new foster home where she can keep building her confidence and perfecting the important things in life, like cuddling, playing fetch, and absolutely refusing to use blueberries for their intended purpose.

Give Mae a blueberry and she'll toss it into the air, bat it around, and turn snack time into her own personal sporting event. She's also been known to wag her tail so enthusiastically that she smacks herself in the face with it! She leaps over couches with all the grace of a gangly puppy, and will physically paw electronics out of the way when they are interfering with her cuddle time. This girl has priorities!

Mae is playful, curious, smart, and very affectionate. When she'd like some love, she'll gently place a paw on you and wait for you to correct the obvious mistake of not already petting her. She loves affection, tennis balls, rope and squeaky toys, puzzles, and snuggling up on the couch. She's also eager to please and picks up household rules quickly.

The world can still feel a little overwhelming to Mae, so she's looking for a calm, patient foster who can help her continue building confidence. A quieter home with a yard would be ideal, as busy apartment or high-density living would be challenging for her right now.

Mae needs to be the only pet in an adult-only home so she can have the space, consistency, and attention she needs to thrive.

She's silly, snuggly, smart, and needs the right landing spot and someone willing to remind her that the world isn't quite so scary, especially when you've got a tennis ball, a couch, and a perfectly good blueberry to play with.
