Hi, I'm Gracie!

1-2 years old | APBT Mix | 41 lbs (with a little more to gain!)

I was confiscated from a neglect/hoarding situation with several other dogs, where we were living in conditions no one should be living in. We had to compete for basic necessities like food and water, but despite everything, I've remained a sweet, happy girl who's ready to leave that chapter behind. Now it's my turn to discover what it means to be safe, loved, and part of a family!

Because of my background, I'll likely need a little guidance with potty training and house manners. Thankfully, I'm still young, and with a consistent routine, patience, and positive reinforcement, I should catch on in no time!

I have lived with other dogs my entire life, so with proper introductions, we expect I'll do well with another dog. Because we sometimes had to compete over limited resources like food and water, it's recommended to supervise me around meals and high-value treats while I learn that there's always enough to go around and I never have to fight for those things again.

I haven't met any cats yet, but some of the other dogs from my case have done very well with them. We'll update my profile once we learn more! Since I'm a friendly girl, I'm expected to do well with respectful children.



One thing my future family should know is that I have some skin irritation from the environment I came from. The good news is that I'm already being treated, and it's expected to continue improving now that I'm receiving proper care. I may also benefit from a quality salmon-based food or a skin and coat supplement to help keep my skin healthy as I continue to heal.

I've already overcome so much, and now all I need is someone willing to give me the fresh start I've always deserved. I promise I'll spend the rest of my life showing you just how grateful I am.



Spayed, microchipped, Heartworm & Lyme Negative, current on vaccines and on monthly prevention. Adoption fee is normally $100, but through 7/31/26 $0!!

Once submitted, staff will review your application during open hours. Please allow 24-36 hours for a response. If approved, we will contact you to schedule a meet & greet! Any other dogs in the home must come along and some dogs may require all family members to come as well! If it's a match, you can your new dog home the same day.

We do offer a 2 week foster to adopt trial time, to be sure the chosen pet is a good fit, before finalizing the adoption!
