COURTESY POST SHELTER DOG IN URGENT NEED
South Bay / Los Angeles Area
PLEASE HELP CHUCK FIND HIS HOME BEFORE IT’S TOO LATE.
Hi, I’m CHUCK. I’m a 2–3-year-old, 56-pound male Pittie mix, and I’m hoping with all my heart that someone will see this post and realize I could be the dog they’ve been looking for.
I was found as a stray and brought to the shelter. I don’t understand why I’m here. I’m happy, loving, playful, and ready to give my whole heart to someone. But now my time at the shelter is running short, and I urgently need a safe place to go.
Please don’t let my story end here.
A little about me:
Happy-go-lucky and full of personality
Loving, friendly, and affectionate
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE to play fetch
Crazy for tug toys and squeaky toys
Smart, treat-motivated, and eager to learn
Easy on leash
Very playful with female dogs
LOVE car rides, especially when I can feel the wind in my face!
I’m the kind of dog who wants to be part of your life. Take me for a walk. Throw me a ball. Let me ride along on errands. Give me a comfy spot to curl up. Teach me what you expect from me, and I’ll do my best to make you proud.
I will need structure, boundaries, and continued training, but I’m smart and treat-motivated, which means I have all the ingredients to become an amazing companion with the right person. I just need someone willing to give me the guidance and consistency I deserve.
I didn’t choose to be a stray. I didn’t choose the shelter. And I certainly don’t understand why my time is running out.
Chuck is only asking for one thing: a chance.
A chance to leave the shelter alive.
A chance to learn what it means to have a family.
A chance to trade a kennel for a couch, shelter walls for a backyard, and uncertainty for someone who promises, “You’re home now.”
If you can adopt Chuck, please don’t wait. His situation is URGENT.
Can YOU be Chuck’s happy ending?
