Hi, I'm Monte, and I'm basically a giant love bug who just happens to have an 80 pound body!

I'm a 3 year old American Pit Bull with a big heart, a goofy personality, and a serious appreciation for my people. If you're looking for a dog who will happily soak up your affection and make you feel like the most important person in the world, I'm your guy!

I'm also still a young pup at heart, which means I have plenty of energy to spare. I'd love a family who enjoys getting out and about with their dog and is ready to give me plenty of exercise, enrichment, playtime, and training. I'm a smart boy, and I'm still learning, so continuing my training with positive reinforcement will help me become the very best version of myself!

I'm actually quite social with other dogs and have done well around them, but I'd prefer to be your one and only pet at home. I can be protective of my food and water bowls around other animals, so having my own space and resources helps me feel comfortable and successful. We also don't know how I feel about cats, so a cat-free home is the way to go.

I'd do best with kids 15 and older who understand that sometimes a big guy like me needs a little personal space. I promise I'll give you plenty of love in return.

I may be 80 pounds, but I have a heart that is even bigger. I'm looking for a family who will keep teaching me, keep cheering me on, and love me for the goofy, affectionate, energetic boy that I am.

My adoption fee is $295 and I'm neutered, vaccinated and microchipped.
