Loki is a four-year-old, 41 lb. Border Collie mix and truly one of the sweetest, most loyal and loving boys you could ever meet.

More than anything, Loki wants a person to call his own. He can do wonderfully with a family or with a single person, but either way, he will most likely choose his person - male or female - and once he does, he is completely devoted. He wants to be by their side as much as possible and can experience some anxiety when separated from the person he loves most. If you're looking for a dog who will absolutely adore you and happily follow you everywhere, Loki might be your guy.

He's also very vocal and has a lot to say! Loki loves to howl when he's excited, when he wants attention, or anytime he hears another dog howling. And if an ambulance goes by, there's a pretty good chance he'll join the choir.

Loki is great with other dogs, although at the end of the day, he would still choose being with his person over just about anything else. No cats for Loki - not because he's mean or aggressive toward them, but because he gets a little too excited and seems to think they're toys.

He loves toys, bones, treats, running and playing, and would do best in a moderately to highly active home. He would make an incredible hiking buddy, camping companion or adventure dog for someone who wants their best friend right there beside them.
