DESCRIPTION
Martha is the kind of dog who makes friends wherever she goes. Friendly, playful, and easy to be around, she's handled every new person she's met with a wagging tail and a cooperative attitude. Whether she's heading out for a walk or simply spending time with someone who wants to say hello, Martha seems genuinely happy to be part of the moment. She has the kind of warm personality that makes you feel like you've known her much longer than you actually have. Martha has shown herself to be an easygoing companion, happily allowing handling and taking life's changes in stride. She has a few minor medical needs, including some ear irritation with possible fly strike, a few old scars, and dental tartar that will benefit from routine care, but none of those things have dimmed her cheerful outlook. Martha is ready to trade shelter life for a family of her own, where she can share her playful spirit, loyal companionship, and plenty of happy tail wags every day. All adoptions include support from our adoption team to ensure a smooth transition from the shelter to your home. Adopted pets are vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed/neutered before leaving the shelter's care. To view our current available animals, please visit: https://indy.gov/activity/adopt-a-pet
