Hi there! My name is Rachel, and I am SO excited to meet you!
If youre looking for a best friend who loves people, adores cuddles, and believes every day is better when spent together, I think we should meet.
Im a sweet, gentle girl with a big heart and an even bigger love for snuggling. Whether were relaxing on the couch, going for a stroll, or simply enjoying each others company, Im happiest when Im with my people. I recently attended an adoption event and had the best time meeting everyone! Kids, adults, strangers... I was happy to soak up all the attention and make new friends. I'm told I get lots of attention because I'm so approachable and extra cute with my petite size & short legs; I even have a cute term "Pocket Pittie".
Im also kennel trained, which my foster says makes me a pretty easy roommate. I have a laid-back personality and a loving spirit that helps me fit into many different types of homes.
When it comes to other dogs, I like to take the quality over quantity approach to friendships. I enjoy many canine companions, but I prefer proper introductions before deciding if were going to be besties. After all, a girl should have standards! Give me the chance to get acquainted, and Ill let you know if were a perfect match.
My foster says I have a beautiful soul, a gentle nature, and so much love to give. Now all I need is a forever family to share it with.

*We coordinate with multiple transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states from Texas to your state or a neighboring state. These are ground transports using third party vehicles (vans/buses) converted for dog transport. Each adopter has the ability to track the van using the app Life360, and receives updates from transport along the way. Facebook chats are another resource to stay informed on tracking dogs on transport. Please be able to use one of these available services if you wish to follow your adopted dog on transport.
*Our adoption fees are based on the vetting we put into each dog. Fees for puppies (under 12 months) are higher because they require more vetting than dogs over 1 year.
*Listed breed and age are based on a best guess estimation by rescue and veterinary staff; DNA tests are not included in adoption.
*Our adopters are eligible to receive 50% off training with Curbed Behaviors Dog Training for programs booked within 30 days of adoption, and 25% off programs booked within 60-90 days of adoption.
