This handsome senior was rescued from a Houston shelter’s euthanasia list due to overcrowding and the odds often stacked against him for being a bully breed, a senior, and black. Thankfully, King was given a second chance and has shown nothing but gratitude and sweetness ever since.

King has recently completed heartworm treatment and is now healthy and ready to begin the next chapter of his life in a quiet, loving retirement home.

He is an all-around good boy who enjoys making friends and being around people. King has an easygoing personality and would thrive in a home where he can enjoy relaxed walks, comfortable naps, and plenty of affection.
