Toby is a spunky 34-month-old Pit mix who came to us as an unclaimed local stray. This confident, happy-go-lucky puppy loves everyone he meets and approaches life as though every day is a brand-new adventure.
Toby is a high-energy boy who would happily play with you all day long. He is always ready to explore, have fun, and join his family on their next adventure. He is good with other dogs, cats, and children, making him a wonderful possibility for many different types of families.
At approximately 30 pounds and still sporting his baby teeth, Toby is expected to grow into a fairly big boy. His adopter should be prepared for the exercise, space, food, and lifelong care that come with a larger, energetic dog. And then there are those incredible ears—they have absolutely no idea what they are doing, which only adds to his irresistible charm!
As adorable as Toby is, puppies require a serious commitment. He will need continued housebreaking, crate and leash training, socialization, daily exercise, mental stimulation, and patient guidance as he grows. Consistent, positive training will help this smart and confident boy develop into a well-mannered adult.
