PIPPI POP POCKETFUL OF SPARKLE

Pit Bull Terrier, Pointer
🇺🇸
Friendswood, Texas
October 2nd
female, medium, young

DESCRIPTION

Freckles. Wiggles. A happy little hop in her step. This is Pippi Pop and she absolutely lives up to the name. Petite, bright-eyed, and full of spunky sweetness, she moves through the world like it’s a playground she’s just discovered.

Want to see her freckled spunk in motion? Head to YouTube and then come right back to read more: https://youtu.be/tLgzGwXQtb8?si=4DOPxmw_ACL8KOrO

Pippi is estimated to be about 2 years old, weighs 37 lbs, and appears to be some sort of staffie-style mix, though as always with rescue, breed and birthday are our best guess. What’s not a guess? She is a happy, medium-sized girl with energy to spare and a heart that is wide open.

Pippi is pure happiness wrapped in fur. She loves people, loves affection, and has a way of making even an ordinary day feel like the best day ever. Imagine coming home to her whole body wiggling because seeing you is the most exciting part of her day, spending your evenings laughing as she breaks out into her classic zoomies, and having a happy little shadow who is always ready to join whatever you’re doing. Life with Pippi would be filled with laughter, spontaneous fun, endless tail wags, and plenty of love. Think of her as your own personal cheerleader, always there to celebrate even your smallest victories and remind you that every day has something worth being excited about.

Pippi is also dog friendly and has done wonderfully with every dog we have introduced her to. She loves having a canine playmate and happily joins in a game of chase or a good wrestling match. If your dog has been asking for a best friend, Pippi is definitely ready to apply for the position. Just be prepared to have two peas in a pod who may happily play all day until you step in and declare it nap time! A little structure and a few scheduled breaks will help everyone settle, recharge, and get ready for the next round of fun.

She can also live with a dog who is not quite as playful. Pippi may invite them to join her at first, but she does learn when another dog is not interested and can take the hint. If you do not have another dog, she will be just as happy soaking up all the love as your one and only. She would make such a fun companion for someone looking for a happy girl to bring along on outings, road trips, hikes, or whatever adventure comes next. As for cats, her response was mixed and inconclusive, so we would love to see her in a home setting with a cat or two to get a full understanding of her approach to a feline friend.

Crate-wise, she walks right in without fuss. Big win! She will thrive with an active family who enjoys movement, play, and a dog who greets each day like it’s a celebration. On leash, she has great basics and an easy pace. She doesn’t drag you down the street, and she responds nicely to correction. When she gets loved on, she gets almost giddy! The energy can only be viewed as welcoming energy with wiggles for affection. She wants the love, and it causes these adorable bursts of absolutely undeniable enthusiasm that will make you giggle every single time! Think confetti cannon!

Pippi’s theme is simple: she isn’t big, but she is big joy, big presence, and a big heart in a perfectly medium package. She is full of life and will thrive with a little guidance and the structure to channel all that happy sparkle. Pippi also loves exploring, rides nicely in the car, and has all the potential to become an incredible adventure buddy. A house with a backyard would be her dream, but she may also do well in an apartment with a family committed to giving her plenty of daily exercise and enrichment.

If you’re looking for a freckled sidekick to keep life upbeat, active, and full of a special sparkle, Pippi is ready and waiting!

Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet.
