BETTY BOOP SQUISHY SWEETIE

Pit Bull Terrier, American Bully
🇺🇸
Friendswood, Texas
August 4th
female, medium, adult

DESCRIPTION

This is Betty Boop, but around here we like to call her Betty Boop "Thicker Than a Snicker." She's about three and a half years old, and we think she's a Pit Bull Terrier/American Bully mix. One look at those perfectly squishy cheeks, her velvety blue-gray coat, those warm caramel eyes, and her permanently happy smile, and you'll understand why everyone falls in love with her in about three seconds. She's built for hugs, belly rubs, and being told she's the prettiest girl in the room—which, if we're being honest, she absolutely believes.

Fast track getting to know Betty Boop by watching her video! Then come back to read more!

Betty Boop is the definition of a lover girl. She has never met a stranger and greets new people with the happiest wiggles, kisses, and a heart that's always wide open. She doesn't just like affection—she lives for it. If you're sitting down, she'll happily mosey over for some love. If you're giving belly rubs, congratulations—you've officially become her favorite person.

She's currently living in a loving foster home with kiddos as young as six years old, and she has been nothing short of amazing with them. She adores playing fetch in the backyard, soaking up all the attention they can give, and sneaking in kisses whenever she gets the chance. Betty Boop has such a gentle, patient nature that we think she'd make an incredible family dog.

When it comes to other pups, Betty Boop is the definition of an unbothered queen. She's fostered with other dogs and does wonderfully. While she isn't much of a wrestler, she's perfectly happy hanging out with her dog friends, sharing space, and letting them be their goofy selves. Her foster siblings can lick her face, paw at her, and bounce around her without bothering her one bit. She'll usually just look at them like, "Are you quite finished?" and carry on with her day. She'd be happy with respectful dog siblings, but she'd also be perfectly content soaking up all the love as your one-and-only.

One thing Betty Boop absolutely does get excited about? Toys! She loves them all, but squeaky stuffies are definitely at the top of her list. She'll happily toss them into the air, catch them herself, entertain herself for a while, or bring them over for a game of fetch. Watching this squishy little meatball proudly parade around with a stuffed toy in her mouth is guaranteed to make your day. She also loves to play tug with her dog friends!

Betty Boop walks beautifully on leash, is crate trained, and has a wonderfully low-energy personality that makes her such an easy companion. She'd be just as happy joining you for a leisurely neighborhood stroll as she would spending the afternoon snoozing on the couch next to you. Because she's so easygoing, she could do wonderfully in an apartment or a house—as long as she's close to her favorite people.

She'd love a home with respectful dog friends, but she'd also be perfectly happy soaking up all the love as your one-and-only. The only thing on her wish list is a cat-free home, as she's not a good match for kitties.

If you've been searching for a sweet, squishy, easygoing best friend with a heart as big as her adorable blocky head, Betty Boop is ready to fill your home with love, laughs, and lots of kisses. She's the kind of dog who makes every house feel a little more like home—and every couch just a little bit cozier.
