Meet Boulder - The Adventure Buddy You've Been Waiting For!
If you're looking for a dog whose happiness is as big as the Rocky Mountains, let us introduce you to Boulder! This 8-month-old Pit Bull mix weighs 51 pounds and is overflowing with puppy charm, goofy antics, and enough love to brighten every single day.
Just look at that face! Those stunning eyes, that silly tongue, and that "Did someone say snacks?!" expression perfectly capture who Boulder is-a joyful goofball who lives life with his whole heart. Whether he's handing out slobbery kisses, bouncing around with his dog friends, or soaking up attention from anyone willing to say hello, Boulder is happiest when he's surrounded by people and fun.
Boulder is a true social butterfly who has never met a stranger. He absolutely adores people and lights up whenever someone walks his way. He's equally fond of other dogs and loves spending his days chasing, playing, and making new canine friends. His playful personality and loving heart have made him one of our staff favorites, and it's easy to see why.
Boulder also has one very important love language... snacks! This handsome guy is happily food motivated, making training fun and rewarding. Pair a few treats with his eager-to-please attitude, and you'll have an enthusiastic partner ready to learn whatever you want to teach him.
Sadly, Boulder's story began with uncertainty. He arrived as an unclaimed stray after being left in the shelter's overnight drop box alongside another dog. While someone walked away from him, Boulder hasn't let that dim his bright spirit. He continues to greet every person with a wagging tail, hopeful eyes, and a heart that's ready to trust again.
Now he's searching for the forever family he should have had all along.
Boulder would love nothing more than to trade shelter life for mountain trails, camping trips, neighborhood walks, lake days, and cozy evenings at home after a day of adventure. We think this fun-loving boy is more than ready to embrace Colorado life, where every hike leads to a new smell, every trail offers a new friend, and every day ends with a family who loves him unconditionally.

We are a foster-based rescue and generally do not have animals at our office, and not all animals attend adoption events. To coordinate a meet and greet with a specific animal please contact us!
We can only finalize adoptions at events for approved adopters. The earlier you apply, the better, it takes time to review and approve applications!
We host adoption events almost every Saturday from *11:00 AM to 2:00 PM* around the Fort Collins community!
