Fiddler - Pit Bull Terrier Dog for Adoption in Chattanooga, Tennessee

Fiddler has been with us for 28 days, and in that time we've worked hard to get this old soul feeling better. His skin issues have been treated. Some growths have been removed. He's been neutered. He's now fully vetted and ready to go home.
But there's one thing we can't fix for him.
Fiddler cries in his kennel.
This big, 70-pound guy has known what it feels like to belong to someone, and shelter life is hard on him. He misses having a person. He misses the comfort of a home. And for those of us who spend time with him, our hearts are breaking watching him wait.
Fiddler is an absolute VOLUNTEER FAVORITE. He's affectionate, house-trained, leash-trained, and does well with other well-mannered dogs. Get him away from the noise of the shelter and he settles down beautifully. Try to take his picture and you'll quickly discover the problem: Fiddler would rather come over for affection than pose for the camera.
He came to us needing help, and we've given him everything we can medically. Now we need someone else to give him what we can't -- a home.
At around 6-7 years old, Fiddler isn't asking for much. He doesn't need to grow up. He doesn't need to figure out who he is.
He already knows. He's somebody's dog. He just doesn't have his somebody anymore.
Please help us change that.
Fiddler needs an adopter SOON.
