He treats every stranger and passing dog like a celebrity sighting. Because he's still in his "gator phase" (working on that excited puppy mouthing!), he's best suited for a home with older kids who understand that he's a work in progress.
Freckles is incredibly smart and will do just about anything for a snack. To keep his massive brain from plotting world domination, his foster mom has taught him an impressive list of cues including, but not limited to, down, peekaboo, spin, and sit. He is a straight-A student, though he's still trying to teach humans how to read his mind when it comes to potty breaks.

Freckles is a major fan of other dogs and would love a furry sibling to help him burn off his endless puppy battery. He also lives with a cat whom he loves with the fire of a thousand burning suns. Sadly, the feeling is not mutual. The cat has filed a formal restraining order against him due to his enthusiasm, much to his heartbreak.
When the day is done, he crates like a pro. His only condition? To be tucked in under a blanket like a tiny human, especially when it's cold.
