Meet Penelope!

Penelope — nicknamed Poppy — is a sweet and sensitive 7 year old black lab mix who is looking for a new best friend (or several)! Shes medium sized at about 50 lbs, and is a perfect medium-low energy girl who loves going out for a walk or running around the yard then taking a snooze in her bed while you work or hang around the house.

Shes a very well-behaved house guest and is completely potty trained and crate trained. And while she doesnt mind hanging out in her crate, she can also be left free in the house without any issues (alone or with other dog buddies) and will meet you at the door to welcome you home with a smile and an excited tail wag.

Poppy loves spending time with her people and her dog friends; shes a true social butterfly and wants to be part of the action. Shes both kid and dog-friendly, and would love to have a canine companion — either pups with a similar energy level or more energetic ones who understand cues and boundaries — but would also be happy being your one and only!
