Otis - Pit Bull Terrier and Labrador Retriever Dog for Adoption in Amarillo, Texas

Otis is a sweet, smart, and incredibly gentle 4-month-old mixed breed pup who is ready to find his forever family! At 41 pounds already, he will likely grow into a large to extra-large dog, with an estimated adult weight of 75-90+ pounds. We believe Otis is likely a Pit Bull/Labrador Retriever mix, but as with most rescue pups, his exact breed mix is just our best guess.

His foster family cant say enough wonderful things about him. Otis is a quiet, kind-hearted boy who is happiest simply being with his people. Hes wonderful with kids, loves other dogs, does well with cats, and has a gentle, easygoing personality that makes him a joy to have around.

Otis is a moderate-energy puppy who would love long neighborhood walks, hiking adventures, or splashing around in puddles and puppy pools. Hes very intelligent and enjoys puzzle toys and enrichment activities that keep his mind busy. Like many puppies his age, hes teething hard right now, so having plenty of durable chew toys and bones is a must.

His foster believes Otis ideal home would have a securely fenced yard and another friendly dog to play with and keep him company. Hes looking for a family who will continue his training, provide lots of love and enrichment, and make him a cherished member of the family.
