Banjo - Pit Bull Terrier and Labrador Retriever Dog for Adoption in Amarillo, Texas

Banjo is a handsome 3 month old Pit Bull Terrier mix (best guess!), likely with Labrador Retriever and several other breeds mixed in. Like many rescue puppies, his exact breed mix is a mystery, but whatever combination created him resulted in one incredibly smart, lovable, and unique little guy. He is expected to grow into a medium to large-sized adult companion.

With his one-of-a-kind brown olive brindle coat and confident personality, Banjo is the natural leader of his litter. He is always the first to investigate something new, solve a puzzle, or confidently explore his surroundings. If there is a toy to figure out, a new sound to investigate, or a new adventure to take, Banjo is ready to lead the way!

Banjo has been raised in a foster home where he has had a wonderful start to life. He is great with other dogs, cats, and kids, making him a fantastic addition to many different types of families. He is already doing amazing with house training, crate training, leash skills, and learning basic commands. His intelligence and eagerness to please make training both fun and rewarding.

While Banjo is adventurous and confident, he also loves spending time with his people and will thrive with a family that will continue to challenge his mind, include him in everyday activities, and give him plenty of love and guidance as he grows.

He has been neutered, is microchipped, 4x DHPP vaccinated, bordetella vaccine, rabies vaccine, dewormed, negative fecal test, kept current on preventatives against fleas, ticks, heartworm, and other parasites as well as cleared for adoption by a licensed veterinarian.
