Cheddar and her littermates were part of an unplanned litter whose owner chose to surrender them to rescue. They were born on March 27th, and have been treated well by humans since birth, so they are happy, friendly, active pups who get along well with other dogs. Cheddar weighs in at 10 pounds (at 9 weeks), so we feel she will be a medium sized dog when fully grown. Since she is still so young, she should not routinely be left alone for longer than 4 hours at a time. She will also need patience and training as she learns proper behaviors (she still bites with her sharp puppy teeth, so probably no small kids).

Cheddar is not yet house trained, but she is improving. She is vaccinated, de-wormed, on flea and heart worm preventative, and micro-chipped. This puppy will REQUIRE A PHYSICALLY FENCED YARD. No apartments or condos for this dog please.

$375 adoption fee (includes a $75 neuter deposit)

HOW TO MEET: This sweetheart may be at the Livonia PetSmart on Saturdays from 11-3. Come up and meet this cutie and/or other pets. The Livonia PetSmart is located at South East corner of Middlebelt and I-96 at 13150 Middlebelt Rd Livonia, MI 48150. It is located in the back of the Meijer and Costco Parking lot. Our pets are in the back-right hand side of the store past the grooming and vet clinic.

WE CANNOT GUARANTEE THAT THE ANIMAL YOU ARE INTERESTED IN WILL BE AT THE ADOPTION EVENT. Please email us if there is a specific dog you would like to meet to be sure they will be at the adoption event. We ask that you DO NOT contact PetSmart about our animals. They are kind enough to provide space for our adoption events, but are not involved with our rescue work.

A volunteer will review your application and contact you if your application is approved or if further clarification is required. We will make every attempt to contact APPROVED applicants within 5 business days of application submission (M-F), but this will depend on the number of applications received. If you do not answer all questions then your application may not be processed. WAG Animal Rescue adopts to homes that are best fits for our animals' needs, and not on a first-come, first-served basis. We are an all-volunteer organization, and regret that we do not have the resources to contact applicants that are not approved. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
