DESCRIPTION
Greetings, I’m Bart!
If you’re looking for a big, loyal cuddle buddy, I’m your guy.
I became homeless on September 23, 2025, after I was found tied to a fence at an apartment complex. No one came forward to claim me, and I’ve now been at the shelter for about 10 weeks. But don’t worry — I’m not letting it get me down. I’ve made great friends here, and the staff and volunteers spend tons of time with us. They’ve really helped me feel safe and loved.
I should mention one thing... I am not a fan of cats. But people? I adore them.
I’m heartworm negative, up to date on vaccines, and scheduled to be neutered soon. I weigh around 50 lbs — built like a little tank — but I’m gentle, affectionate, and ready for a family to call my own.
If you’re searching for a strong, sweet companion, come meet me. I’d love to be your new best friend. ??
ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
The Pit Bull Terrier is a resilient and loyal breed known for its muscular build and loving nature. Originally bred for bull baiting and later dog fighting, Pit Bulls today are beloved family pets cherished for their gentle temperament and playful personality. With proper training and socialization, Pit Bull Terriers make affectionate companions that thrive on human interaction. Recognized for their strength and agility, these dogs require regular exercise and mental stimulation to channel their energy positively, reinforcing their reputation as devoted and trainable pets.
