My name is Angel, and I’m a 2-year-old Akita/Husky mix with the most beautiful glassy blue eyes you’ve ever seen. My coat is a stunning red with white markings that make me truly one of a kind.

I was impounded on January 10, 2026. My previous owner was notified that I was at the shelter and decided not to reclaim me, as their fencing wasn’t secure and I kept escaping the yard. While I’ve spent most of my life outdoors, I’m ready for a new chapter.

The good news? I’ve tested negative for heartworms and I’m up to date on my vaccinations — so I’m healthy and ready to go!

I’ve been talking with a few of my "constituents," and they highly recommend I try the indoor/outdoor lifestyle — especially the part where I get to live inside with my family, be part of the daily routine, and soak up love and attention. I think I’d really enjoy being included in the family dynamic instead of watching from the yard.
