A sweet, playful pup who’s really starting to come into his own!
When Zephyr first arrived, he was a bit shy, but with time, patience, and positive experiences, his confidence has grown beautifully. These days, he’s showing off a more relaxed, happy side and proving he’s ready to take on the world (one sniff at a time!).
On walks, Zephyr is all about the adventure. He’s a curious, sniff-oriented explorer with a medium pull, eager to check out every interesting scent along the way. In the yard, he’s more easygoing and independent, happily enjoying a few playful zoomies before settling in for some chill time.
Zephyr is very treat-motivated and already knows “sit,” “lay down,” “shake,” and “wait”—what a smart guy! He enjoys pets and attention, though he may get a little excited when the treats disappear (understandable!), but he redirects easily.
With his balanced energy, growing confidence, and friendly nature, Zephyr is an adaptable boy who’s ready to keep blossoming in a loving home. If you’re looking for a fun, curious companion with a sweet personality, Zephyr might just be your perfect match.

To meet me, visit the Bradshaw Animal Shelter Tuesday-Sunday, Noon - 5:00 pm, Wednesdays, Noon - 6:00 pm. All adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis. To help expedite the meet and greet process, please make note of my Animal ID number, and those of other dogs you might be interested in meeting. Be sure to bring your ID with you, too. We are located at 3839 Bradshaw Road, Sacramento. I look forward to getting to know you!
