Barney’s rescue journey makes him extra special. He was found injured and in pain, and thanks to a kindhearted good samaritan, he was rushed to an emergency vet and later brought to our shelter for care. After receiving treatment and lots of gentle support, Barney has healed beautifully and is now ready for his forever home.
Barney is a sweet, gentle soul with a friendly personality. He can be a bit shy at first, so he would likely thrive in a calm, quieter household where he can feel safe and blossom at his own pace. He has a long and lanky body frame that only adds to his charm. If you’re looking for a soft-hearted companion with a touching story and a lot of love to give, Barney might be the perfect match.
**WALK IN SHELTER TO ADOPT Tuesday Noon-5pm, Wednesday 12-6pm, Thursday-Sunday Noon-5pm (Closed Mondays and Holidays). All adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis. Be sure to bring your ID with you too!
