Please note, dogs in the Freedom Tails program will be in training for up to 12 weeks. During that time, it is the goal for the dog to be able to pass either the AKC K9 Good Citizen test and certification, or the Puppy S.T.A.R. certification.

ABOUT THIS DOG: Meet Beau. A young pittie mix boy that found himself at the Aberdeen animal shelter after adventuring around town. His owner never claimed this adventurer, and he was past his hold date. We couldn't let this playful young boy be another statistic, and we had an opening at Freedom Tails. So, he went from jail to "the big house." Now, he is getting taught be an inmate handler how to be a well behaved boy.
